Matt Hollingsworth

Matthew J. Hollingsworth is a personal injury trial attorney and founding partner of Hollingsworth Injury Law, LLC. Matthew focuses on helping people injured as a result of the negligence and recklessness of others. He has experience working with Georgia courts in civil litigation matters including automobile accidents, tractor trailer collisions, medical malpractice and wrongful death, slip and fall, premises liability, dog bites, and other catastrophic injury matters. In 2020 Matthew was selected as a Rising Star in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury; only five percent of Georgia attorneys are chosen each year for the Super Lawyers list and 2.5 percent for Rising Stars.

Matthew has experience in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, depositions, motions practice, settlement and mediation, and trial. Matthew has experience working at two premier Atlanta law firms where he has represented both plaintiffs and national insurance companies, teaching him the ins and outs of the insurance industry’s handling of claims.

He litigated hundreds of personal injury and insurance defense matters, and acted as first-chair counsel in jury and bench trials. This background has prepared him with the ability to fight aggressively and strategically for accident victims and their families. Prior to practicing law, Matthew gained extensive knowledge of Atlanta’s legal market as a consultant focusing on direct hire legal staff placements.
